Step by step towards your dream wedding day
Planning a wedding is exciting – but also time-consuming, emotional and often full of small (and big) decisions. This is exactly where a wedding planner comes in. But how does such a collaboration actually work? What can you expect? In this article, I will show you how professional wedding planning works – from the initial contact to your big day.
1. Initial contact & getting to know each other
It all starts with your enquiry – whether by email, social media or the contact form. I will get back to you as soon as possible and we will arrange a non-binding introductory meeting. The main purpose of this meeting is to see if we are a good fit: What is important to you? How do you imagine your day? And, of course: What can I do for you?
Tip: Before the meeting, think about what is particularly important to you for your wedding. This will help you to be more specific right from the start.
2. Personalised quote
After our chat, you'll get a personalised quote tailored to your needs. It's important to me that you only get what you really need – whether that's full planning, partial planning, coaching or coordination on your wedding day. Transparency and fairness are my top priorities.
3. The planning phase begins
Once you have decided to work with us, we can really get started. Depending on the package you have booked, we will begin with the location search, budget planning, scheduling, service provider selection, design concepts and much more. During this time, I will keep you up to date via email or regular calls.
Don't worry: you always remain in control. I take work off your hands, but you make the decisions.
4. Creative concepts & service provider network
A big plus point: I work with a reliable network of photographers, florists, musicians, stylists and many more. On request, I can recommend suitable service providers. All carefully selected and passionate about their work. Your individual design concept will also be developed during this phase – tailored to your style, your story and what is important to you.
5. The big day – relax and enjoy
On the wedding day itself, I will be on site to ensure that everything runs smoothly. You can concentrate fully on yourselves, your guests and the moment. I am the contact person for everyone involved, keeping an eye on the schedule and making sure that everything runs as you wish in the background.
6. After the wedding
Even after your big day, I will still be there to support you – for example, with returning decorations or communicating with service providers. Many couples tell me: ‘We never imagined how much work goes into a wedding and how much we needed the support.’
